I find myself in need of another rabies clinic. I have another animal that's due for a rabies shot and i don't want to miss it.

I have a bad feeling that this will be a bad year for fleas and ticks, well a good year for them I guess but a bad year for us and our pets. Please protect your pets.

I love the Canine Advantix for my dogs (only available with prescription) and I use the Revolution for my cats. Preventing fleas and ticks is FAR better then treating for them (and ultimately less expensive). Now is the time to begin prevention methods if you have not done so already.

Still, anyone know of an upcoming rabies clinic?

Hi Dawn: Petco in Leominster has low cost vaccine clinics every other Sunday, and every other Tuesday and Thursday I think? Their number is 978-840-5810. Rabies shots are $15, and they also do heartworm tests and other vaccinations. FYI - in February (yeah, NOW I tell you, haha) the rabies vaccines are $5!

I have said it before and I will say it again... I think this is going to be a bad year for fleas and ticks. I have already known of 6 people (yes people) in the past two weeks with ticks on them from normal everyday life. Not hiking, not camping, not going out in the woods, just normal coming and going. And not in the woodsy parts of town, right in town.

Please protect your pets, but also check yourself and your children.
