 BLANKETS DESPERATELY NEEDED!!!
« Thread Started on Nov 17, 2008, 5:06pm »

The weather is getting cold, and the dogs at the pound really need your help! We're in desperate need of blankets, towels, sheets, pillow cases, quilts, comforters, dog beds, you name it! Generally blankets are tossed after they're soiled so anyone wanting to volunteer to do some laundry please let us know. Blankets can be dropped off either at the pound (in a plastic bag please) or at the police station!
Lots of tail wags and doggy kisses!

I think that the pound has four dogs, and the ACO has a mom and six puppies at her house. She's sharing with my pound (Ashburnham) and we have three dogs and a kitten. Thank you all for your help!

And speaking of food - anyone have any KITTEN (not cat) food they can donate? Ashburnham has a gorgeous maine coon mix kitten, about 8 weeks old. And yes, there is ALWAYS a need for blankets!

HELP... We need blankets of any kind for both the Winchendon and Ashburnham pound dogs.

Please spread the word.

As always, they can be dropped off at the pound, left at the police station in the lobby or you can call us at 978-297-3533 to leave a message and we will call you back asap.

And to show you how really desperate I am... ;D
I will go your house if needed (to get blankets) ;)
Please call me at 978-297-0445.

Thank You
Judy

Can you use dog food that has already been opened? I bought a 4 lb. bag of Core Wellness dog food that is "protein focused" and grain free but it didn't agree with my dog. (just gave him horrendous gas...whew!) I hate to just throw it away...it was pretty expensive and I'd love someone to be able to make use of it.

I also have an open bag of rawhide chips that he didn't care for that I'd hate to see go to waste.

I could provide references so you would know that we're not evil dog poisoners. ;)

Yes... we will take anything and everything ;D

There is no need to provide references... without "trust" in the world, what else is left? ;)
You can drop it of at the police station in the lobby (if that makes it easier) if not, let me know and I'll swing by and pick it up.

Thank you
Judy
